RecoSignal is operated by ADVERTEX (License No. 1054701), Dubai, United Arab Emirates. ADVERTEX is the controller responsible for the personal data described in this Privacy Policy.

Personal data we collect

When you request an AI Visibility Snapshot or contact us, we may collect:

• Business name
• City and country/market
• Business email address
• Phone or WhatsApp number (if you provide it)
• Website URL (if you provide it)
• A short description of your business (if you provide it)
• Technical data such as IP address, browser and device information, cookie identifiers, pages visited and timestamps
• Any communications you send to us

Purposes and legal bases

We process your personal data for the following purposes and legal bases:

• To prepare and deliver the AI Visibility Snapshot you requested — legal basis: performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
• To contact you about your request, clarify your details, deliver the report and discuss the results — legal basis: performance of a contract or our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
• To operate, secure and improve our website, forms and services — legal basis: our legitimate interests, where not overridden by your rights.
• To send optional marketing messages, offers and product updates — legal basis: your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
• To use non-essential analytics or cookies — legal basis: your consent, where required by law.
• To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights — legal basis: legal obligation and/or legitimate interests.

Use of AI and service providers

To prepare your AI Visibility Snapshot, we process the business information you submit using third-party AI and search providers, which may include OpenAI (ChatGPT), Google (Gemini) and Perplexity. We also use hosting, database, analytics, security, email delivery and customer-communication providers.

These providers process personal data only as needed to provide services to us, under contractual obligations where applicable. Please do not include sensitive personal data in the business description field — it is not needed to generate your Snapshot.

Recipients of personal data

We may share personal data with:

• AI, search and data providers used to generate your Snapshot
• Hosting, database, infrastructure and security providers
• Email delivery, CRM and customer-support providers
• Analytics and cookie providers, where enabled
• Professional advisers, regulators or authorities where required or permitted by law

International transfers

ADVERTEX is based in the United Arab Emirates. Some of our service providers are located in, or process data from, countries outside the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, including the United States.

Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards required by applicable law — such as adequacy decisions, the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, and the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where applicable. Data retention

We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above. As a general rule:

• Snapshot request data: up to 12 months after submission, unless a longer period is needed for an active customer relationship, legal claim or compliance.
• Email and communication records: up to 24 months.
• Marketing consent records: until you withdraw consent, plus a reasonable period to evidence compliance.
• Analytics data: per the analytics provider’s settings, typically no longer than 14 months.
• Server logs: up to 90 days, unless needed for security or legal reasons.

Your rights

Depending on your location, including if you are in the EEA or the UK, you may have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
• Request deletion of your data
• Restrict or object to processing
• Receive a copy of your data in a portable format
• Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent
• Object to direct marketing at any time
• Lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority

Withdrawing consent

Where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time by contacting privacy@recosignal.com or using the unsubscribe link in our emails. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

Complaints

If you are in the EEA or the UK, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve your concern.

Cookies and analytics

We use necessary cookies to operate the website. With your consent, we may also use analytics or performance cookies to understand how visitors use the site and improve our services. You can accept, reject or manage non-essential cookies through your browser settings; where required by law, non-essential cookies are not placed without your consent.

We do not sell your data
